We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will oversee bookkeeping services for a dedicated group of clients. You will not be required to handle:
- Any tax work
- Basic bookkeeping (you will supervise the bookkeepers)
- Management responsibilities (management opportunities are available for those interested)

### What You'll Do
As a Senior Accountant, you will:
- Set Up Services for New Clients: You'll engage with clients to understand their needs and coordinate a team of international bookkeepers to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Your role is to be a high-level accounting resource, managing client communication and expectations, while building a trusted advisor relationship.
- Supervise Ongoing Services: After onboarding, you will provide support and supervision to the bookkeepers working with the same clients.

### Requirements
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced: The ideal candidate has managed the accounting for multiple companies, either in-house or within an accounting/bookkeeping firm. Titles such as Controller, Finance Manager, Full Charge Bookkeeper, Director of Accounting, VP of Finance, CFO, or Senior Accountant would be relevant. Management experience is a plus but not required, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks is essential.
- Knowledgeable: While a degree in accounting or a related field is common, it is not strictly required. CPA and/or ProAdvisor certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Highly Organized: This role involves managing multiple clients and coordinating a diverse team of bookkeepers. Exceptional organizational and time management skills are crucial.
- Great at Building Strong Relationships: Establishing a personal rapport with clients is key. The goal is to become a trusted advisor, so a friendly and positive demeanor is essential, especially when dealing with challenging situations.
- A Great Communicator: As a representative of our team to clients, you should possess excellent professional communication skills and be fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in computers and the ability to learn new systems quickly are important. Excel expertise is preferred, and experience with QuickBooks Online or Desktop is required. Familiarity with other accounting software, such as Xero or NetSuite, is beneficial but not necessary.
- An Adaptable, Fast Learner: Each client is unique, and this role requires someone who thrives on learning and finding creative solutions to new challenges. If you prefer a well-established process, this may not be the ideal role for you.
