Systems Engineer - SECRET Security Clearance

Stellar has an opportunity available for a Systems Engineer. This position supports the Air Force on-site at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH.

Job Duties:

• Knowledgeable with Windows Active Directory and Windows Server.
• Knowledgeable with Windows 10 Group Policies.
• Provide second tier support to users.
• Perform account management for classified systems.
• Run ACAS and SCAP scans to ensure compliance with STIGs and regulatory policies.

Secondary Duties: 

• Troubleshoot network issues to include Cisco switches, Windows clients and servers.
• Configuring and installing VOIP phones.
• Support ISSOs to produce documentation of network and system policies.
• Able to research and troubleshoot issues with no higher-level support.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills / Qualifications:

• Computer hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge regarding printer/multi-function device operation and how to troubleshoot.
• Accurate database entry skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook.
• Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening skills along with attention to detail.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in combination with a team.
• Microsoft or Cisco Technical certifications.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted on a routine basis.

Required Experience:

• 4+ years of technical experience. Advanced education can replace years of experience.
• MUST possess a minimum of a current/active SECRET security clearance, a TS/SCI is preferred.
• MUST possess a current/active IAT II (i.e., Security+) or higher certification.
• US Citizenship is mandatory.
