We are currently seeking a Data Engineering, Modeling, and Analytics professional with experience working within a team setting to design, deploy, and support data and analytics solutions.

The team:

You will be working with a national team with a client base that extends across the United States. Our Data Engineering services (DE) team members have served in both consulting and industry roles and specialize in helping organizations deploy repeatable, scalable, and sustainable solutions that save time and resources. Our DE team has experienced rapid growth and maintains a strong pipeline and is constantly looking for ways to develop our delivery methods, technical solutions, and grow our client skillsets through certifications and regular training opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Play a role in projects teams that deliver complex data and digital solutions to our clients Provide input to client project plans and solution architectures. Support client discovery of current state people, process, technology, and data through survey, individual interview, virtual or in person workshops, and data profiling. Perform metadata mapping, define identifier and code transformations, and the generation of technical requirements documentation for data pipelines, workflows, and other solutions. Develop and demonstrate technical solutions using the following technologies and languages (with plenty of opportunity to explore new technical solutions):
  • T-SQL and Python
  • Git Repos
  • Snowflake Data Cloud
  • Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, Azure Data Factory
  • Azure Data Studio or Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
  • Microsoft SQL Server Database Engine, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance
  • Azure DevOps, Atlassian Jira
  • Power BI Desktop & Service
  • Tableau Desktop & Server
  • Alteryx Designer & Server
  • Work with data in both 3NF and Star Schemas, define data mappings, reference data, and data lineage of attributes of data entities (Bonus: Experience working w/ NoSQL data formats)
  • Triage and resolve bugs/defects, manage Quality Assurance (QA) and test plans
  • Complete work according to project budgets and timelines which have been defined to you to ensure on time and on budget delivery
  • Author digital written, video, and audio content such as how to articles, white papers, release notes, and other content intended to be posted on RSM’s website or Industry Journals
  • Complete certifications in various frameworks, technologies, and methodologies
  • Support practice management efforts, participate in future hiring, performance management, and personal development plans for new team members
  • Support the drafting of Statements of Work (SOWs) for new client work
  • Travel to client sites as needed

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $92,100 - $185,400

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
