Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Tailor educational plans that meet each student's unique needs and goals.
Deliver Engaging Virtual Instruction: Provide personalized, online instruction to students with diverse learning needs in a way that's both supportive and adaptive.
Track and Assess Student Progress: Monitor student development and make adjustments to teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
Collaborate with a Team: Work closely with parents, educators, and support staff to create a cohesive educational experience for each student.
Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed and organized documentation to ensure consistent tracking of student progress and IEP goals.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Special Education.
Certification: Valid Michigan Special Education teaching certification.
Experience: Prior experience in virtual teaching.
Skills: Proficient in using online learning platforms, with strong communication and organizational abilities.

Preferred Experience:
Specialized Experience: Working with students who have orthopedic impairments.
Assistive Technology: Familiarity with assistive technology tools that support students' learning.
Teaching Principles: Understanding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to provide accessible and inclusive education.

Position Details:
Availability: Open to both part-time and full-time candidates.
Employment Type: Independent contractor role.
Academic Year: This position is for the current school year.
