Job Title:  Senior Patient Advocate

Location (city, state): Travel between offices in West Orange, NJ, Edison, NJ, and Manhattan, NY

An Orthopedic and Spine office provides cutting-edge spinal care in New Jersey and New York, offering advanced minimally invasive and non-surgical treatments at multiple locations throughout Northern New Jersey, Central New Jersey, and New York City. They are a leader in endoscopic and robotic surgery.

Job Description: Work along side doctors to schedule and communicate patient appointment information, work closely with surgical and pain management departments, keep track of patient records, and offer administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and follow up doctor's appointment. Communicate with each patient and make sure they are notified of their appointment.
• Working within our EMR and other record keeping programs to schedule new / repeat patients and maintain updated records for them.
• Assisting with referring patients out and keeping track of referrals
• Work as a medical scribe in examination room

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years experience in the spine or orthopedics field
• Bachelors Degree
• EClinicalWorks or other EMR experience

Additional Details:

• Hours: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. 30min paid lunch
• Attire: Navy blue scrubs
