Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roustabout Pusher to lead our team of roustabouts in the oil and gas industry. The Roustabout Pusher will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of roustabout operations, including coordinating tasks, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and organizational skills to support the success of our oilfield operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
As the Roustabout Pusher, you will lead and supervise a team of roustabouts, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure the timely and efficient completion of tasks. Your responsibilities include assigning tasks, monitoring performance, conducting training, and fostering a culture of safety and teamwork among team members.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee all roustabout activities, including equipment setup, maintenance, and site cleanup.
Lead and direct a team of roustabouts, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
Assign tasks to roustabouts, prioritize work orders, and ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet project requirements.
Conduct regular inspections of work sites and equipment to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards for roustabout operations.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and address project requirements.
Prepare reports, work orders, and documentation related to roustabout activities, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
Provide leadership and guidance to roustabout personnel, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other departments, including operations, logistics, and maintenance, to optimize resources and support project objectives.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of roustabouts.
Comprehensive knowledge of roustabout operations, equipment, and procedures in the oil and gas industry.
Proficiency in safety regulations and procedures related to roustabout activities, including equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and stakeholders.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to analyze issues and develop effective solutions.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements
Basic: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Associate's degree or technical certification in oilfield operations, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
Preferred: Relevant experience in roustabout operations or supervision.
Physical Requirements:

The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time, unassisted. The incumbent must wear a respirator when required. Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination sufficient to operate industrial machinery is required. This job also requires full range of body motion to include handling and lifting. The incumbent must repeatedly lift and/or move up to 65 (SIXTY-FIVE) pounds unassisted. Visual acuity, hearing, speaking, reading, and writing must be adequate to perform all required tasks in a safe manner.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Work is usually done outdoors and sometimes at a client facility or job site and is frequently performed in inclement and/or extreme weather conditions. The incumbent is exposed to electricity, moving mechanical parts, vehicles, equipment, and hazardous materials. This position regularly requires long work hours and frequent weekend work.
