SUPERVISOR’S TITLE: Associate Vice President for Research

WORK SCHEDULE : Flexible

REPORTS TO : Office of Research

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher or still in progress
• Relevant experience
• Familiarity with using a computer/keyboard
• Record of promptness and job reliability
  
  

Skills

• Clear and effective oral communication
• Good rapport with people
• Ability to exercise sound judgment
• MS Office, programming, hands-on sensors and computations
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, and move from one area to another in the performance of job functions
  
  

Essential Responsibilities

• The Laboratory Assistant will be visible and available to students, faculty, and visitors at the College Computation Laboratories and perform routine lab functions.
• Assists lab users within the lab environment
• Assists lab users in the use of computers and supplies
• Collect and use data
• Complies with the College policies and procedures
• Answers the office telephone and performs other duties as requested
  
  

Training will be provided, as needed, to ensure familiarity with lab operations and equipment.
