RN Med Surg – Richmond, VA

• Pay: $31.55 - $45.07/hr based on experience
• Sign-On Bonus: $10K (for candidates with 1+ year of RN experience)
• Shift: Full-time, Day & Night shifts available (Rotating Weekends)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN to join our dynamic team in Richmond, VA, and provide exceptional patient care in a 30-bed surgical care unit. You will deliver patient-centered care to acutely ill patients and those recovering from surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and participate in patient and family education.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions using computerized documentation systems.
• Coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
• Maintain cultural and diversity awareness in interactions with patients, visitors, and co-workers.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current RN License in Virginia or Multistate Compact License.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.
