JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a full-time Marketing Intern to join our Business Development, Marketing and Communications team at Rödl & Partner in Chicago, IL for the Spring 2025 semester. You will promote our corporate branding, design internal and external communications, and support on various business development tasks. You must be able to manage projects, multi-task and communicate effectively. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive and results oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in all Marketing/Business development efforts, plans, and strategies in alignment with the firm’s vision and culture
  • Maintain and enhance firm's social media presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram (using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva)
  • Produce content and design images for all marketing materials (e.g., PowerPoints) in accordance with the Corporate Standards
  • Create content and serve as part of the editorial team for the monthly internal newsletter
  • Database reconciliation
  • Business Development: Research potential targets
  • Upload content to the internal and external websitewww.roedl.us
  • Support with administrative tasks e.g., take care of monthly business card order, roll over of 2023 documentation
  • Collaborate on projects with various teams and levels of management within the firm
  • Organize and assist in the implementation of Rödl & Partner events

Required Qualifications

  • Full-time availability for the Spring 2025 semester
  • 3.0 GPA minimum requirement
  • Suggested majors: Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations
  • Junior or Senior in a Bachelor's program or recent graduates
  • Experience with the Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva and Wave is preferred 
  • Social Media Experience is preferred (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
