Client: Large Agriscience Manufacturing Client
Title: Laboratory Technician
Duration: 6-12+ Months
Location: Indianapolis IN 46077
Hourly Rate: $20.00-25.00/ Hour on W2 ONLY
Responsibilities:
• Any specific skills or requirements you want in a candidate: would like strong candidates with Bio/Chem experience. -- Self Motivated, willing to learn, able to work independently
Responsibilities:
• Assist with exploration, proof of concept, and development of novel formulation and delivery system technologies and concepts for new and registered active ingredients
• Assist with intellectual property (IP) capture and research report writing and presentation
• Support routine sample preparation and characterization
• Compliance with laboratory safety procedures
Other responsibilities include:
• Be able to run and operate sample characterization instrumentation
• Consistently applies sound scientific methods to solve technical problems.
Requirements:
• Prior experience in research or manufacturing/engineering.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Experience in a chemistry lab.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate information and data sharing with stakeholders.
Education
• BS or AS in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related fields
• Experience with the design and development of formulations is desirable
• This position is located in Indianapolis, IN, USA.
• Experience with automation is desirable
