Job Description

Position Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator works with the Human Resources team to provide support with recruiting, employee programs, global engagement, and administrative duties. This individual will also help support internal and external marketing and social media projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist HR team with administrative onboarding procedures. Including offer documentation, scheduling meetings, and other paperwork needed.
  • Develop and maintain an effective process of screening and interviewing entry level candidates.
  • Schedule interviews for prospective candidates
  • Lead and organize company events including office meetings, team building events and other departmental get togethers.
  • Assist with drafting and updating employee policies and employee handbook to include processing updates and distribution of changes as needed.
  • Provide support for various employee recognition programs.
  • Manage general office facilities to ensure the space is conducive to effective work for everyday employees and visitors when meetings occur. Act as liaison with building management as necessary
  • Perform administrative support in the office such as handling mail, packages, scanning, and filing.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and other administrative support for the CEO including booking flights, hotels, and transportation and expense report submissions.
  • Update and maintain internal database for designs, photography, videos in support of marketing material for internal and external use.
  • Supports marketing and communications related needs of Choice Logistics on linked in and other platforms.
  • Coordinate new hire & existing employee engagement meetings with other departments.
  • Work with Sales team on occasion to plan and execute corporate events including producing promotional materials and marketing material.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1-3 years related HR experience.
  • 1-2 years of high-volume recruitment experience
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks.
  • Prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently.
  • Learn quickly in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
