Nexeo is seeking a dedicated Field Tester to join our team in Hurricane, UT ! In this part tim e role, you will play a crucial part in validating the quality of our autonomous software by conducting vehicle testing. You’ll work directly with our landscaping team to execute test plans, ensuring that the autonomous lawn mowers perform seamlessly. This is an on-site position, primarily working at golf courses, where you will be testing and troubleshooting the equipment. Expect to spend 90-100% of your time in the field. Responsibilities
• Implement detailed test plans to validate the performance of autonomous vehicles, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Partner with scrum teams to perform user-acceptance testing, providing feedback as software approaches release.
• Identify, document, and analyze defects discovered during testing, offering clear reports for improvement.
• Conduct thorough tests in both lab and field environments to assess software functionality and reliability.
• Regularly lift and carry test equipment.
• Capable of working early mornings, from 5:30 AM to 11:00am, as to accommodate optimal testing conditions.
Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age to operate equipment.
• Previous experience operating commercial mowers is preferred.
• Experience with golfing and understanding of golf course etiquette is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in software or hardware testing is an advantage.
• Coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical problems and solutions to team members.
• Knowledge of regression testing, and standard testing protocols is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment while taking responsibility for individual tasks.
• Capable of actively listening, following instructions, and maintaining precision in testing processes.
Pay
$16.00 Per Hour
