What you’ll do

We are looking for an Executive Recruiter to be a trusted partner as we continue to scale our great talent bench in support of our sustained global growth. As a Leadership/Executive Recruiter, you will be a trusted partner with our Product, Engineering and Design leadership in hiring for our leadership roles, focusing on job scoping, executive alignment, candidate sourcing, and closing. We are building a truly unique, global company and as such, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of roles.

The successful candidate gets excited at the prospect of ramping up and learning new subject matter to properly identify talent and speak credibly to them. You will collaborate closely with the executive team to fill key strategic positions within Airwallex on a global scale. This role requires exceptional influencing skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where successful outcomes are recognized and celebrated. This role is based in San Francisco. 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior executives to define strategic hiring needs and develop candidate profiles

  • Utilize creative and diverse sourcing strategies to attract top-tier executive talent

  • Serve as a thought partner to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for executive positions, from sourcing to offer acceptance

  • Provide a consistently positive candidate experience by building trusted relationships with candidates

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on hiring strategies and goals

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and practices

Who you are

We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in recruitment, hiring senior-level talent (VP or C-level) in a fast-paced, growth stage environment 

  • Strong ability to ramp up on new domains in a short period of time

  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting and closing candidates across various domains

  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work autonomously and drive results in a global setting

Preferred qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency hiring for Product, Engineering, and Design (PED) roles

Compensation

$160K – $230K

Airwallex promotes fair compensation practices in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local law.

These expected base pay ranges are based on information at the time this post was generated and represent the company’s good faith minimum and maximum ranges for this role at the time of posting.

The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills and other qualifications, geographic location as noted, internal equity, and other external market factors.

Certain roles may be eligible for other compensation including, but not limited to, annual bonuses, commissions, RSUs, or other forms of compensation in addition to the established salary range.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and work location. US-based employees are eligible to participate in medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability, basic life insurance, and well-being benefits. US-based employees also receive 20 paid days of vacation and 12 paid days of company holidays in a calendar year.
