The Europe Representative will cover a specific territory to further develop our business, maintain existing relationships/accounts, and meet sales goals. Territory will include the UK and EU countries of: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
Also: Iceland, Ukraine, Switzerland, Norway, Serbia, Montenegro and UAE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Field Work (70%)
•  Collaborates with Director of International Sales to effectively communicate brand strategies to Importer management.
•  Responsible for executing Silver Oak | Twomey | Ovid | Timeless strategy within the defined sales territory.
•  Manage and work with importers and their sales staff to achieve volume and new placement goals, with a focus on brand additive OnPremise accounts.
•  Penetrates top-tier prestige accounts in assigned territory.
•  Continually builds base of distribution with a focus on target accounts.
•  Work with Director of International Sales to manage pricing, programming, and inventory.
•  Conduct brand education, train and coach importer sales staff and management regarding our wines and brand equity
•  Manage and participate in trade organization events, such as CAWI Tours and NVV events, VinExpo, Prowein and others.
•  Hosts wine tastings, trade events and wine dinners for consumers, often on weekends and evenings.
•  Develop agendas, presentations and participate in sales meetings and business reviews.
•  Use company resources efficiently, prepare and execute on approved budget for territory expenses.

Administrative Work (30%)
•  Regularly communicates with the VP of Sales regarding market work, sales progress, distribution initiatives, and market conditions.
•  Analyze and report sales results to implement Silver Oak | Twomey | OVID | Timeless brand strategies and objectives. Regularly report on sales progress and placement initiatives.
•  Maintain account placement details. Solicits and reports importer depletion data.
•  Manage and forecast sales to meet quarterly sales targets while operating within budget.
•  Maintain comprehensive contact list.
•  Maintain regular communications with Director of Wholesale Operations, Inside Sales support and sales management.
•  Provide same day response to customer and company communications.
•  Work with the Director of International Sales to build importer relationships, and target appropriate accounts within the region. Allocate wines, monitors, and engage with accounts to enhance brand equity.
•  Responsible for marketing intelligence gathering; review market sales performance and other sales related data.
•  Manage fulfillment of territory National Account objectives in coordination with NA lead. Collaborate with National Account On-Premise Lead to expand upon US program placements globally.
•  Collaborate with Wholesale Team, joins meetings and actively shares new ideas and thoughtful comments.
•  Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFYING SKILLS:
•  Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
•  3-5 years of related work experience. Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience selling wine within this territory.
•  Candidates living within the defined territory preferred.
•  Impeccable professional conduct, integrity and reliability.
•  Professional approach and demeanor.
•  Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and with a CRM system.
•  Highly motivated, self-starting individual with superb time management skills, a positive attitude, who can work independently or as part of a team.
•  Excellent managerial and selling skills. Ability and desire to travel frequently within territory for meetings, market visits, presentations, and market support.
•  Objective oriented, focused, and assertive individual who can meet and exceed sales targets.
•  Existing contacts and strong relationships with key on and off-premise accounts.
•  Demonstrated success in business development and increasing case volume.
•  Persuasive public speaking and presentation skills, ability to make effective group presentations.
•  Strong business writing and mathematical skills.
•  Proven ability to track details and manage information.
•  Embrace innovation and demonstrate entrepreneurial mindset.
•  Demonstrate good judgment and make sound business decisions on behalf of the company.
•  Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
•  Multilingual candidates in languages spoken within the territory preferred. Candidates must also be proficient in English.
•  Understands and respects diverse cultural norms.
