Job Description

This is a remote position.

At Mindojo, we’re developing an adaptive education platform used by market-leading educational products such as Bloomberg Exam Prep and language learning platforms for children.

On our platform, students engage in personalized dialogue with our AI private tutor, far surpassing the efficacy of existing resources like textbooks, video or classroom lectures, and various e-learning products.

In the EdTech Sales Manager role at Mindojo, you’ll drive our sales efforts by increasing outbound activities to schedule meetings, negotiate, and close deals with new and existing clients. Your focus will be on securing B2C deals ($500-$2,000 per client) and optionally expanding into small B2B sales ($15,000-$75,000 deals). Ideal candidates are dynamic sales professionals with a deep passion for education and technology, capable of delivering tangible results. You will thrive in our fast-paced, innovative environment, tackling new challenges that drive our mission forward.

We offer a full-time or part-time contract role with a reasonable cash base and generous success-based component. You can work from anywhere, and the schedule is very flexible.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant work experience as a Sales Manager with the ability to close, or in Business Development in B2C and/or B2B SaaS companies
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to effectively articulate our value proposition
  • Excellent organizational skills and a proactive attitude are essential
  • General tech savviness
  • Native English

Bonus points for:

  • Master’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proficiency in other languages (Spanish, French, German, Mandarin, Arabic, etc.)

What you will be doing:

  • Reach out to prospects through various channels (following the Mindojo Sales playbook) to schedule meetings and sign new clients.
  • Manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Collect and maintain prospect information in the CRM database.
  • Develop positive relationships with key client decision-makers.
  • Negotiate and close deals.
