Job Description

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry work, and repairing equipment
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC
- Handle landscaping duties including mowing, pruning, and maintaining outdoor areas 
- Programming for and maintaining drip irrigation. Repair any irrigation that is not working properly - A MUST
- Maintain and improve outdoor spaces by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees, trimming trees and hedges 
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers 
- Design and implement landscaping plans according to employers' needs and preferences 
- Monitor and maintain plant health, including watering, fertilizing, and pest control 
- Communicate effectively with employer to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
- Other light maintenance as required
- Safety Sensitive Position
- Other duties as needed or required

 

Work Environment:

-Primary work environment is the production floor.

- Secondary work environment is the office.

- Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

- Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through the entire shift.

- Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns.

- While performing duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time. Occasion stooping and walking will be required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent 

- Previous experience in landscaping or irrigation work 

- Knowledge of use of landscaping equipment 

- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment  

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
